Master’s/DES-DEA Program in Water Resources
Our postgraduate program of Master or equivalent of DES/DEA (2 years) thus offers five specializations which focus on the potential services of water resources available in the region of Central Africa and the Congo Basin, including :
- Water and Biodiversity
- Water and Energy
- Water and Navigation
- Drinking Water and Sanitation
- Water, Irrigation and Food Security.
GDT-BC
Research Program on the Sustainable Management of Tropical Peatlands in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
To preserve these peatlands against natural and anthropogenic threats in the current context of climate change, we must have knowledge of their functioning and dynamics in order to reduce uncertainty and contribute to political decision-making.

CB-Hydronet
Congo Basin Network for Capacity Building in Water Resources.
Collaboration network between individuals and institutions for applied research and capacity building in science, management and use of waters in the Congo Basin.
CRuHM
Hydraulics and Morphology for Congo River Users (CRuHM) is a research and capacity building initiative for the Congo River Basin funded by the Royal Society Capacity Building Fund (DFID).
CEMiC
CEMiC is a research project on “managing interactions between migration and conflicts due to climate change and water with a view to strengthening the resilience of communities in the Congo Basin”. It aims to contribute to the socially equitable development of the population of the Congo Basin and strengthen the resilience of communities in the face of climate change by addressing the links between migration and conflicts linked to climate and water.
AWaRMN
African Academic Mobility Network Doctoral Scholarships Program in Water Resources is a project of the intra-African academic mobility program, is set up to respond to the pressing needs related to water on the African continent.
GMES & AFRICA
This Program aims to promote the development of institutional, human and technical capacities and resources for access to the operation of basic Earth Observation services as an operational framework for sustainable development in Africa.
CB-CIS
From English: Congo Basin Catchment Information System, CB-CIS is a knowledge interface that provides high scientific and near real-time information on the structure, processes and functions of water resources at the scale of under watersheds, better "water resources management unit", as well as on the impacts of changes in the physical environment and society.
