The collection of field data in the Project study area was carried out in collaboration with researchers from local University Institutions. These local researchers were recruited as investigators, they were trained beforehand so that they could understand the research context and the different tools to be used for data collection. This training was organized in the three priority provinces of the project, namely the provinces of Bas-Uélé, Haut-Uélé and Ituri. It was carried out by research managers (scholarship learners) and research associates.
