
The training was carried out by CB-HYDRONET with financial and logistical support from CAP–NET, WATERNET, GWP Central and Southern Africa, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the University of Kinshasa and the Ministry of the Environment in the DRC.
The photo above illustrates an aspect of the opening day of the aforementioned workshop attended by 40 participants from 33 institutions representing a wide range of stakeholder groups involved in the water sector specifically in research and education, the private sector, civil society organizations, policy makers and watershed level organizations in 13 countries that are part of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Economic Community of the Central African States region (ECCAS).
